Muskoka Rock is accepting nominations from its membership for the following four awards:

Goalie of the Year

Coach of the Year
-
Mentorship Award
-
Special Achievement Award
Goalie of the Year and Coach of the Year are awarded annually.
The Mentorship and Special Achievement honours are awarded as-warranted; they are not annual awards. The Muskoka Rock Executive will consider nominations and select a recipient if they deem the criteria is met and merited.
Nominations are reviewed and voted on by the Muskoka Rock Executive Board. A nomination does not mean that individual will win an award.
Nominations must be submitted by Sunday March 22, 2026.

Awards will be presented at our Banquet on Thursday, April 16th at 6pm located at the Port Carling Community Centre.
About the awards:
Goalie of the Year
The Muskoka Rock Goalie of the Year award is presented annually and in memory of Elliot Neal, a former goaltender of Muskoka Rock. He defined the Goalie of the Year as having the following attributes:
- sportsmanship
- dedication to his/her team
- hard working both on the ice and off the ice
- respectful attitude
Coach of the Year
Presented annually to a coach who demonstrates exceptional leadership, commitment, and positive influence throughout the season. This individual fosters player development both on and off the ice, promotes sportsmanship and teamwork, and creates an environment where athletes can grow, compete, and enjoy the game.
Mentorship Award
Presented to an individual who demonstrates outstanding dedication to supporting and developing others within the organization. This person leads by example, shares knowledge and experience generously, and has a meaningful, positive impact on the growth and confidence of players, coaches, or volunteers.
This honour is awarded as-warranted and is not an annual award. The Muskoka Rock Executive will consider nominations and select a recipient if they deem the criteria is met and merited.
Special Achievement Award
Presented to an individual for exemplary service, dedication and unique contribution to the club.
