To Our Muskoka Rock Families,
As seen from the OMHA Update below, due to Government restrictions resulting from high cases of COVID-19, the recreation facilities are closed which has now forced us to pause our season. The Muskoka Rock Executive, coaches and managers will continue to work hard towards continuation, and will keep all players and parents updated on how things will move forward with the balance of our season and playoffs.
Thank you for your understanding, and best of luck navigating this latest pause at home.

Following the province’s announcement on January 3rd ofOntario Temporarily Moving to Modified Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopendue to the increased case numbers of COVID-19, new restrictions have been put in place that will affect programming over the coming weeks.
In conjunction with this announcement, theOHFand OMHA are pausing all in-person programming (games, practices, on-ice and off-ice training etc.) in its entirety beginning January 5, 2022, at 12:01am until 12:01am on January 27, 2022, unless restrictions are eased by the Ontario Government prior to. The only exceptions are for athletes training for the Olympics and Paralympics and select amateur sport leagues who will operate via an approved framework from the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health.
The OMHA believes in the mental and physical health benefits that hockey offers to our participants. We will continue to provide resources for our players to keep building their skills at home during this time. Additionally, we will support our Associations by keeping them informed of the latest updates as they are released.
We understand this is a disappointment for everyone at the moment. We want to thank everyone for making hockey their sport of choice this season and we look forward to returning to the ice as soon as possible to get back to the game we love. To navigate the newly imposed restrictions by the Ontario Government and the decision to pause programming by the OHF - a complete Q&A is providedhere.
We encourage everyone to stay safe and be active in both physical and mental health. Keep your skills sharp at home and help those around you in the community. For more information on mental health and other resources, visit any of the following resources:
